At TEC Partners we are thrilled to be recruiting for a highly unique role that will be sure to pique the interest of any Bioinformaticians. Our client is an early-stage Biotech company, who have developed a proprietary gene silencing platform with the ambition of developing ground-breaking, novel human therapeutics.

This is a position where you have an opportunity to be part of a cutting-edge research programme that will have a real impact on people's lives.

What your role will be:

  • Develop and maintain bioinformatics tools and pipelines for genomic data analysis.
  • Develop and produce statistically robust genome-scale analyses that will inform subsequent strategies of the R&D team.
  • Analyse human genomic data using cloud-based platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Engaging with teams both within the company and internationally.

Key Requirements our client is looking for:

  • BSc/MSc/PhD with experience in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, statistics, or a related field.
  • Significant experience with Mammalian Genomics and Genome-scale data Analysis.
  • Proficient knowledge of Bioinformatics tools and pipelines: NGS data processing for variant calling & expression profiling (Bulk/Single-Cell RNA-seq)
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and Perl.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
