Fibre Optic Assistant Technician
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the telecommunications industry? Coreline Fibre UK is currently seeking a Fibre Optic Assistant Technician to join our dynamic team based in Manchester. You will be responsible for housekeeping and maintenance of equipment and vehicles, tool checks, and assisting the team leader with daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Splicing of fibres
· Accurate labelling of fibre boxes
· Taking photos of completed work and forwarding them to the TL for reporting to the Client
· Prepping of work to be done
· Maintain client specifications
· Accurate record-keeping of time and attendance for assistant splicer and TL
· Maintain vehicle and toolbox checklist
· Adhering to all health and safety check files and ensuring the TL reviews information for sign off
Minimum Requirements:
· Living in the UK when applying for the role
· Clean valid full UK Driver’s license
· Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal
· Previous experience in the construction industry is an advantage
· Take initiative
· Ability to work within a team and independently
· FOA certificate (not a must)
· Ability to cope well under pressure
