Job Title: Head Chef
Our homes provide a range of care and support services for our residents, some of whom live with dementia.
Chef /Cook Duties include but not limited to:
- Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals as and when required.
- Provide for special dietary requirements when necessary and take into account preferences of the residents.
- Maintain accurate records of food supplies/freezers and fridge temperatures.
- Manage food budgets & cost control. Ensure stock rotation, order stock and check deliveries.
- Supervise and instruct Kitchen Staff members in the use of all equipment and hygiene procedures.
- Ensure the kitchen is safe, clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist with food preparation and catering in accordance with Health and Safety and Food Standard regulations.
