Health and Safety Manager (Group)

Goymour Properties & ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure

Permanent, 40 hours per week

Based, predominantly in Lenwade, Norfolk with fortnightly travel to Banham and periodic travel to Bury St Edmunds

Due to the nature of our businesses, there may be a requirement to work weekends, evenings & Bank Holidays when requested.

The Role:

Goymour Properties Ltd (incorporating ROARR! in Lenwade, Applewood Countryside Park & Hall in Banham and Goymour Homes in Bury St Edmunds) have an excellent opportunity for a Health and Safety Manager to oversee, implement and develop the Group H&S Management Systems.

You will use your knowledge, skills and experience to offer; support, advice and assurance on health and safety issues ensuring we are fulfilling statutory requirements for our guests and staff and well as continually developing our internal health and safety culture.

Working closely with senior management and department managers you will be the main point of contact for health and safety, responsible for risk assessments, method statements, working practices, training and administration.

Key Skills:

  • NEBOSH Diploma
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal and IT
  • Ability to lead by example, able to work collaboratively across a number of diverse teams
  • Experience of conducting H&S audits – reviewing and implementing change
  • Ability to implement new systems and processes and provide training and support

Ideally, you will have a minimum 5 years' H&S management experience and you must be able to demonstrate knowledge across the latest Health and Safety legislation, particularly within the leisure and tourism sector.
