Since Bartletts Solicitors was established in 1860 we have prided ourselves on providing a range of quality legal services for all our clients.
We currently require a legal assistant for our Chester City centre office located next to Tesco on Frodsham Street, dealing with claimant personal injury matters.
Required qualifications, skills and experience:
- Word-processing and audio-typing skills
- Confident and organised individual who is able to work on their own initiative
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key tasks include:
- File creation;
- Legal audio transcription and copy typing;
- Court bundle preparation;
- Assisting with reception duties;
- Diary management;
- Filing and general administration, including incoming and outgoing post;
- Generally assist in all aspects of personal injury;
- To assist other departments/offices in Chester City centre when required
Office: 1 Frodsham Square, Frodsham Street, Chester, CH1 3JS
Core Hours: 3 days (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) to 5 days a week, 9am to 5:30pm, 1 hour for lunch.
We offer a competitive salary and a pension scheme (with a 6.5% employer pension contribution and death in service cover) after 12 months completed service.
