Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Picker and Packer for our busy client based in Witham on a temporary to permanent basis.
Our client is looking for a hardworking and dedicated individual to join their busy warehouse based in Braintree. The successful candidates will be responsible for picking customer orders using a handheld scanner and replenishing the stock within the warehouse.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Picking customer orders
- Meeting order picking targets
- Use of a handheld scanning system
- Manual handling
- Replenishing stock within the warehouse
- Working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment
- Stacking pallets
- Removing waste packaging and ensuring it is disposed of in the correct manner
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
- Ideally will have some previous warehouse experience
- Literate and numerate, understanding pick sheets
- Ideally will have used digital scanners
- Familiar with manual handling practises
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift heavy objects
Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm.
In return our client is offering £9.50 per hour.
