Title: Production Assistant / Production Operative
Our client who have opened a new production site in Tamworth are looking for Temporary Production Assistants/Operatives to cover their peak period. £12.00 per hour. Overtime available - £18.00 per hour after 37.5 hours completed. 10:00 - 22:00. Work available between Monday to Sunday.
Key Responsibilities:

Packing products in line with internal processes/ systems.

Scanning products to produce labels.

Reconciliation of products and cards.

Creating and organising pick lists
-
Reconciliation of products and cards

Producing personalised products
-
Printing labels using label printers and applying these, either by hand or machine

Printing personalised labels using Ricoh, Sawgrass and Epson printers
-
Printing mug artwork
-
Printing other personalised items
-
Producing personalised mugs, alcohol gifts, chocolates, etc.

Maintenance of printing equipment and other machinery in your area
-
Keeping work areas tidy at all times and making sure that 5S is maintained
-
Picking gift items from the warehouse using the WMS system
-
Managing and replenishing stock levels
-
Packing products in line with internal processes/ systems.

Reporting quality and safety issues to line manager (Team Leader, Supervisor or Management)

Giving training and mentor new starters
-
Helping your colleagues in other departments
