Hours: 35-hour week Working week: Monday – Friday; 9am – 5:00pm

Responsibilities and Duties
A Recruitment Consultant is responsible for finding the best candidates for their client’s vacancies
and the reversal of securing the best position for their candidates. Recruitment Consultants are also
responsible for generating new business opportunities, identifying, and securing new clients and
attracting new talent.

  • Ability to negotiate favourable contracts between the recruitment agency, employers and

employees

  • Knowledge of industry specific vacancy websites and the best places to post job

advertisements

  • Ability to source new business leads before developing opportunities
  • Ability to sell the benefits of a company or vacancy to a potential applicant
  • Ability to sell the skills and expertise of a candidate to a potential employer
  • Ability to use GVC database, including spreadsheets
  • Screening prospective job applicants to evaluate their skills and qualifications
  • Entering job applicants’ CVs and contact details into the company database for future

reference

  • Matching potential candidates to our clients’ requirements
  • Producing and posting job adverts that attract appropriate candidates
  • Cold calling companies to promote the services that GVC can provide
  • Meeting with new clients to develop and expand business opportunities
  • Headhunting specific candidates for high-end job roles, such as senior management

positions.

  • Offering the highest levels of customer service to our customers
  • Making a high number of outbound contacts daily to perspective clients and

candidates

  • Building lasting relationships with your client base. Offering an unrivalled quality recruitment

service to promote repeat business

  • Create your individual brand within GVC and be seen as an industry leader.
  • Set and exceed the KPIs we have agreed upon.
  • Demonstrate senior level status for the company as a whole and conduct yourself

accordingly

  • Offer advice and support to your colleagues to help them develop and be available to answer

Salary & Benefits
Role: Recruitment Consultant.
Visa: Sponsorship is available for overseas recruiters.
Salary: $80,000 – $95,000 per annum (depending on experience).
Commission structure: Start earning commission from your first month! (Commission brackets up to 30%)
Annual Leave: 24 days annual leave, plus ALL public holidays, plus birthday off (\*34 total).
Super: 10.5%
