Aalco Metals are looking to recruit an experienced Warehouse operative on our Mid 2pm - 10pm and Night-shift 10pm - 6 am, reporting to the shift Supervisor. This role includes a shift allowance.
The role includes:
- Picking and packing orders.
- Machine operating.
- Loading and unloading wagons.
- Stock maintenance.
- General housekeeping.
- Working to deadlines.
Candidates should have:
- Experience of working in a Metal Stockholder environment.
- FLT licence, with experience operating Combilift trucks an advantage.
- Knowledge of machine operating, such as Saws, Drills and Guillotines.
- Attention to detail, whilst working at a fast pace.
- Self motivated and willing to always improve and develop.
- Ability to work in a team, although being able to work alone when required.
- Offer great customer service, whilst maintaining company standards.
- Basic computer / IT and general mathematics skills.
- Reliability, being able to show an excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
